“Cuchicheo” translates as “whisper” — to speak softly, often in secrecy.
In this piece, I explored volume for the first time, letting the work hold a private, playful quality as suggested by the title. The piece is a study in form and texture, created through macramé that shapes a volumetric structure. Within this volume, esparto grass is interwoven, emerging from the form and adding a sense of movement and life. By combining these methods, I continued to develop a contemporary approach to craft, transforming traditional techniques into a personal visual language.
