“Susurro” translates as “whisper” — to speak very softly, often in secrecy.

This fourth piece in the Conversaciones series continues the exploration of structure and surface. Using esparto grass fibres, I created a small square on a canvas frame, allowing the material to retain its natural qualities with minimal manipulation. The work emphasises texture and form while preserving the voice of the raw fibres. Its quiet, subtle presence reflects the gentle, understated character suggested by the title.
