Susurro III
Reclaimed canvas and silk

“Susurro” translates as “whisper” — to speak very softly, often in secrecy.
This small canvas piece continues the exploration of structure and surface. Using hand-spun silk, I embraced the natural variations and subtle color shifts inherent in the yarn, allowing its imperfections to become part of the work. The silk is applied with minimal manipulation, highlighting the material’s raw beauty and creating a quiet, textured surface that reflects the gentle, understated character suggested by the title.
