Sedimentos reflects the layered accumulation of time and movement, much like the deposits left by water as it shapes the land. Created using crochet, but moving away from a fixed and systematic pattern, the work allows the material to dictate the form. Loops and irregular strands build a textured surface that carries a sense of shifting currents and the meeting of different materials in nature. Through this process, structure gradually gives way to movement, and the act of making becomes more fluid. The piece embodies the essence of the series, where intention meets openness and form emerges through the natural flow of the materials.
